ANTI-CORRUPTION SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN AT MAYOR MARKET, AGBANI ROAD, ENUGU
The Enugu South Anti-Corruption Community Development Service staged an anti-corruption campaign at mayor maket, Enugu.
The campaign which took place on the 11th of May, 2017 was tagged: The Perils and Jeopardies of Corrupt Practices in Nigeria and The Way Forward.  Members of the CDS group converged at the Mayor bus stop, Enugu  in large number with placards displaying anti-corruption inscriptions boldly written on them. It commenced at about 9AM with the NYSC anthem and national pledge. With the aid of the public address system,  they were able to sensitize the public on the Perils and Jeopardies (negative effects) of corrupt practices in Nigeria, and proffered possible solutions.

The people were entreated to shun corrupt practices at every stage of life and to stop pointing accusing fingers at anyone as the Holy book admonishes us "You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (Matthew 7:5). They were also entreated to do their very best at their own level to help reduce corruption to its barest minimum and make Nigeria better.

The anti-corruption corp members that spoke in English, vernacular and Ibo language ensured that they came down to the level of the traders and passers-by in order to convey they message effectively. The exercise was concluded at about 11am and it was a Huge success.

Documented for the veiwing pleasure of the NYSC ANti-Corruption CDS Coordinator, Enugu South.
